I have an addiction to wearing t-shirts that are as loud as I am and make people either laugh or think or better yet, both. Over the years, I have seen graphic t shirts come back into style with the comfy casual look, or even wearing one with leather pants and heals (but who the fuck is wearing heels unless they have a gun to their head).
My favorite part of t-shirts is that they can be worn as pajamas or as acceptable day wear, bra or no bra, and with whatever bottoms cover your nether regions for your comfort. I love t-shirt dresses, oversized tees, cropped tees, and even the occasional fitted tee, but only if has a really really really cool graphic. My point is, this has been a growing addiction that started when I was 16 and could finally afford my own clothes, and has taken over my closet ever since.
Certainly, I have gone through stages. I have learned through trial and error which places to go, colors to get, and even graphics that will still be in style years down the road.
By all means, one of my favorite shirts ever. The material is soft and comfy, the graphic is bold and clear, and it alludes to the idea that I potentially drink beer (which is a big no). This Dilly Dilly shirt cost $3 at goodwill, the leggings are from everlane, and the birkenstocks are one of three pairs of shoes I wear regularly. Another Goodwill find! This construction shirt is very oversized, but I love a good front pocket t shirt. I spent $5 on this comfy staple that pairs well with skinny jeans and my blundstones.I think I have an obsession with BirdsArentReal.com. Their shirts are beyond comfortable and comical. For $25, I feel like the quality level is a steal! My Che Shirt that I purchased in the airport in Cuba. This shirt replaced a different Che shirt that went missing on my study abroad adventure, but it still holds a special place in my heart. My Santa Cruz t-shirt that proves I am local while also proving that I am cool (?). I bought this shirt from Santa Cruz Boardroom over on 41st and cropped it myself. A Poshmark find! This hilarious shirt was $20, and honestly, I love wearing it on days when I give no fucks. It is so obnoxious and always makes me laugh.I love all things Addams Family. This cute and comfy t shirt from Pink Arrow Boutique was $40, but with their coupon code of Pumpkin20, you can get 20% off. I love their graphic tees and will def be buying more ASAP.Another Goodwill find! I love this shirt and anyone who has seen me in the last three years has seen me wear this shirt everywhere. I bought this beauty for $3 and it was so so so worth it! Have I ever been to the Rocky Mountains? Absolutely not. But this shirt is so damn comfortable that I might make a trip for more!Another BirdsArentReal.com Tee! So comfortable, so cute, and the color… It is the perfect shirt for me. It calls out government control while also displaying a fun graphic that brings people’s attention to my humor :). This shirt was $25, and I have zero regrets.
